(Twilight Prep)
Get the house ready for dusk.
Forward this to your seller a day or two before a twilight shoot. A few changes before we arrive turn a good dusk shot into a great one.

Clear the Driveway
- Move all cars out of the driveway and away from the front of the house.

Open Up, Light Up
- Push every shade fully to the side and raise every blind all the way — we want as much window glow as possible.
- Turn on every interior light: lamps, overhead fixtures, bathrooms, laundry room, closets, even the garage.

Set the Mood Outside
- Turn on all landscape, pathway, and pool lighting.
- Turn off motion-activated floodlights or security spotlights — they blow out the shot when they trigger mid-frame.
- Hot tub: lid off, jets running, lights on.
- Fire pit: gas or electric only. Wood-burning fires put off smoke that shows up in every frame.

What to Expect
- We shoot the exterior from the yard — no need to let us inside unless there's an upper-level deck we can't reach from the ground.
- We'll knock once when we arrive and once when we're wrapping up. The final knock is the cue to start turning things back off.
